Born Samantha Aisling McBride on June 12th, 1988, in Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland- to parents Katherine Reid and Liam McBride. Her parents were killed in a plane crash when she was three. She and her twin brother, John, were moved around foster homes until they ended up in Bantry, where they met their friends.
